After reading through all the reviews about terrible taste but amazing raw diet, I decided to try it out. I'm able to honestly say that i'm amazed which i love the taste and consistency. It tastes nearly the same as the vanilla protein shakes I have had through the years (avoid this high-quality diet!) having a very slight eco-friendly juice aftertaste. I mixed 1 scoop (that is really large!) with simply water and ice. I additionally used my miracle-bullet blender to really make it nice smooth. Personally i think VERY full and satiated. *** I personally don't like after i see people demeaning powders such as this for tasting bad or just being gritty. No, this does not always taste amazing by itself, since it is not filled with artificial tastes. Yes, it's gritty, since it is made from actual food, not synthetic dissolving contaminants.
This really is RAW, Organic food. Whole Food, literally, dried and ground into powder. They clearly take certain measures to really make it taste just a little better, but ultimately, this is not intended to be the most delicious factor you have ever had, its intended to be among the best things you might have.
I'm going to be honest, I do not enjoy this by itself. I believe will still be far too gritty considering the variety of liquid they are saying to combine it with.
